Responsible gaming

Gambling is entertainment that costs money. It is not a way to earn, and it is not a way out of a financial hole. The apps on this site are built to be profitable for the operator over time, which means the longer you play, the more likely you are to be down.

Before you deposit

Decide the amount you are willing to lose and treat it as the price of an evening out. Money set aside for rent, school fees, medicine or loan repayments is not that amount.

Most operators let you set a deposit limit in the account settings. Setting one while you are calm is far easier than stopping while you are chasing a loss.

Signs that it has stopped being fun

  • Depositing again straight after a loss, to win it back
  • Playing longer than you meant to, regularly
  • Borrowing money to play, or selling something to play
  • Hiding how much you play from family
  • Feeling anxious or irritable when you are not playing
  • Thinking about the next session while at work or with family

Any one of these on its own is worth noticing. Several together is a reason to stop and talk to someone.

Taking a break

Every licensed operator is required to offer self-exclusion. It sits in the account settings, usually under responsible gaming, and it locks you out for a period you choose. Once active it cannot be reversed early, which is the point.

Blocking software such as Gamban or BetBlocker covers your whole phone rather than one app, and BetBlocker is free.

Where to get help

If you are in distress right now and there is no one you can talk to, contact a local mental health helpline. Tele-MANAS, the Indian government service, is reachable on 14416 and operates around the clock.

Under 18

Nothing on this site is for anyone under 18. Operators verify age before paying out, so an underage account loses whatever it wins.
